New Beta version!

Dear Patreons and Discord Members,

It’s been quite a while since the last update. Still, you continue to support me here.

I did not post much, and by doing so, giving you a reason to continue your support. In total, you received three posts this year from me. Any community manager would get a heart attack when hearing this.

And yet, here you are.

So what happened?

I did make good progress with the next chapter in January. As you might already know, a change in my career and some personal issues brought the project pretty much to a stop.

I am sorry, but I am currently busy and do not have much choice but to set my priorities elsewhere.

I hope this will change sooner or later, but I cannot say when.

No matter what, I will continue developing “Bound to College.”

I don’t know how much time I can afford for this project in the near future. But I did have two weeks of vacation and finally managed to add Ron to the wrestling game.

This game mechanic gave me more than one headache. Don’t wonder if you get some weird numbers displayed during the match – they are just for me to see the variable and will be deleted for the live build.

So what I initially considered a quick little game turned out to be a bit more challenging than I expected. Therefore I decided to show you the current build, even though several fighters are still missing.

You will notice some changes:

– The “Back” button is not available

This is no bug but intended. No “cheating” by hitting the “Back” button. The outcome of a match is not changeable.

– Only three matches

You can only fight three times. Later, I plan to give the player the option to “train,” so there will still be only one actual match, but you can play all other options as a “training.” The outcome will not be saved, though. Only the “real” fight will count. As for now, I suggest you create a save game before entering a fight.

– No Android version

The final game will have an android version. Only the beta version not.

I will publish the access details for the Beta in the Patreon’s area.

I hope you like it, and thank you for your support!

Oliver
